Job Purpose: The Regional Business Development Manager role will maximise all sales opportunities in Housing Associations, new house builders, facilities managers or procurements specialists.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Sales: To create, develop and manage relationships to achieve sales

  • Manage and grow your regional sales:
  • Set targets with Sales Director
  • Identifying new business opportunities.
  • Proactively contacting potential clients to build a strong pipeline
  • Create and manage all sales relationships
  • Maintain relationship with customers using the most appropriate method of communication
  • Take responsibility for customer through sales process
  • Reach or exceed quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain the revenue and gross profit of each account, ensuring they remain profitable in line with annual targets, exhausting all additional revenue stream opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer and pipeline records using the Sunamp CRM system
  • Report sales progress on an ongoing basis
  • Achieve significant commercial success
  • Maintain a consistent high level of service delivery
  • Meet with clients face to face, telephone or most appropriate method of communication to provide information, educate and promote the business through presentations
  • Combine business and industry acumen with influencing skills to promote alternative value offerings delivered by new and disruptive technologies.

    Skill and Competency Requirements

            • An accomplished Sales Manager with a successful track record in business development
            • Thorough understanding of the HVAC industry
            • The ability to engage at all levels within an organisation
            • An inspired and inspiring approach
            • A strong team ethic and willingness to get involved in this fast-growing business.

     Client Management

            • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions and strategies to achieve successful commercial relationship
            • Continually defines ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
            • Maintain internal CRM systems to support client relationship for all users.
            • Maintains lasting client relationships to continuing commercial success
            • Ability to present at all levels both internally and externally.

     Circumstances:

            • Able to travel
            • Prepared to work flexibly within the team to ensure timely delivery of service.

      With the recent growth and investment, Sunamp is now expanding its sales capacity in the UK. This person will play a fundamental role in achieving the company’s customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. Leading, inspiring and growing a UK sales team whilst developing B2B sales and distribution channels as well as direct sales to large volume end users such as housing associations, house builders and facilities managers. You will manage the entire sales cycle and establish lasting relationships with customers. With an excellent track record in sales within HVAC including presenting and demonstrating customer specific value propositions.

       

      Ideal background

      Sales management experience within the HVAC or renewable energy industries would be ideal.
