Solar equipment

Solar equipment converts solar energy from the sun into electricity for use in a home or business. Cells are similar to solar panels. However, cells can be a variety of sizes. Some cells are small and some are large.

Some pieces of solar equipment are used in the space industry. Some of them power satellites and other objects in space. Small solar cells can power small items, like a calculator.

Solar equipment can be used to power a variety of items. Some of these items need a large cell and some of them need a small cell. But there are also items that need a group of solar cells in order to receive enough energy. This group of cells is called a module.
