Residential solar power

Residential solar power offers the choice of energy efficient and environmentally friendly places to live. These homes are often referred to as green homes, and they are popular in many places around the world.

Residential solar power starts with solar panels or cells. These panels are installed to gather energy from the sun for use in the home. Often, solar powered homes are either all or partially powered by solar energy.

Residential solar power can be used in cold and in warm climates. In warm climates these homes can use solar power year round. However, in colder and darker climates solar power may only be available for use during part of the year.
